It was time for the last shows of this year - Helsinki Winner shows! On Saturday I was just relaxing on the show place, but on Sunday I was competing in Finnish Championship Final with American cocker spaniel Ch Light Dream's Zuperstar "Bailey", who is absolutely one of my favourite junior handling dogs ever! We enjoyed our time in the big ring but unfortunately no placement for us. This was my last competition as a junior handler, but next year I will continue my handling career in breed rings. :)

13.-14.11.2010 Jyväskylä INT
What a weekend! ;o)
In Jyväskylä I competed again with an American Cocker Ch Light Dream’s Zuperstar “Bailey”. We did quite nice job on Saturday, but no placement this time.
Well, a new competition on Sunday. Bailey really showed out his best! We won BEST IN SHOW junior handler under a judge Juha Palosaari. I also got qualification for Finnish Championship competition! :) There were over 50 junior handlers competing, so I think I really can be proud of me & Bailey!

I had a chance to get know a totally new breed for me! I competed in junior handling with a Pug Kingpoint Been There Done That “Torsten”. We were among the best 11 under a judge Hanna-Riina Aho.

10.10.2010 Hyvinkää, Finnish American Cocker Club´s 30th anniversary show
I competed in junior handling, this time with a very special dog; Ch Very Vigie Vamos A La Playa “Vamos”. We won BEST IN SHOW junior handler, under a judge Jean Austin, Waverly Cockers, USA.
Thank you all friends for a lovely day, we really had fun! Special thanks goes to Sanna Vartiainen, for letting me to compete with Vamos - it was a pleasure to be in the ring with this King! :)

04.-05.09.2010 Liminka speciality x 2
I spent lovely autumn weekend in Liminka. I took part in junior handling both days with miniature poodle Miracle Minx Bohemian Rapsody “Tatsi”. It was over a year ago when we were on the ring together, but I think we did super job together this weekend!
Saturday junior handler was judged by Kristiina Niemelä and we placed 2nd. But Sunday was little bit better day for us! We won BEST IN SHOW junior handler under judge Niksa Lemo from Croatia.

06.-08.08.10 Kuopio INT x 3
My last summer show was Sawo show; 3 International shows in Kuopio. I had Ch Light Dream’s Zuperstar “Bailey” with me, and we did nice work in junior handling every day.
Friday was the first show day. Saara Heikkinen was judging junior handling. She really appreciated when handler also knew something about the breed of the showed dog. We did super work again and long competition in hot weather was worth for it; we placed 2nd in a really big competition!
Saturday we were among the best 10 under judge Tino Pehar from Croatia.

Sunday we were also among the best 10, this time judge was Sini Savilaakso.
This was my last show together with Bailey, now he is back at home. Thank you Karoliina for this unforgettable chance to had Bailey here with me! :) We really enjoyed our time and I’m sure I will miss this sweet boy so much!

31.07.10 Ristiina All Breed show
After one hour sleeping we started our trip to Ristiina. First on the morning I helped my friend Nina with her bearded collies. I showed lovely veteran girl Ch Memorylane’s Original Cindy “Nuppu” who was BB-1 and BOS. Nina’s breeder’s class was also BOB breeder, congratulations! :)
I competed in junior handling with Bailey, but no placement this time.

24.-25.07.10 Kemi All Breed show
Our show tour continued in Northern Finland. I took part in junior handling, both days with Bailey. Saturday we placed 3rd under a judge Maija Mäkinen and Sunday our placement was 4rd, this time Markku Kipinä was judging.
We had so much fun also outside of the rings; thank you Laura for super company! ;)

17.-18.07.10 Ylivieska INT
I travelled to Ylivieska with my sweet summer visitor, American Cocker Ch Light Dream’s Zuperstar “Bailey”. Saturday we were among the best 7 under judge Hilla-Tuuli Keränen.

Sunday was a little bit better day for us. Bailey was full of energy and enjoyed his time on the ring. We placed 2nd. Judge was Jarmo Hilpinen, thank you!

10.-11.07.10 Oulu INT x 2
This time we had two international shows in my home town. The weather was super hot, company was really nice and we really had fun! :) On Saturday I was competing in junior handling, again with an English Setter, young Blue Baltic’s Headline Hero “Hermanni”. No placement, but we sure had fun in the ring.

I helped my friend Heidi Kursu in the group finals; I showed her charming dwarf poodle Ch Siimline’s U Will Eat My Dust “Oliver”.
Sunday morning started with American Cockers. On the lead I had Ch Light Dream’s Zuperstar “Bailey”, who was this time BM-3 under a judge Paolo Dondina from Italy. We also took part in junior handling, but we both were too tired on hot weather.

19.-20.06.10 Rovaniemi INT
I made really nice trip up to North. On Saturday I was competing in junior handling. On the lead, first time ever, I had an English Setter, Blue Baltic’s Valse Lyrique “Lumo”. We did quite nicely together and we placed 2nd under a judge Jose Homem de Mello from Portugal.
On Sunday I just had fun in the ring with another English Setter, young Blue Baltic’s Headline Hero “Hermanni”.

13.06.10 Muhos speciality
We had a speciality show only 30 minutes drive from us. Junior handling was judged by Johanna Flinck. I competed with an American Cocker Regina-Phalange “Piipi” and the result was quite nice - res. BEST IN SHOW junior handler!

Another rainy day at a show… Today I was competing in JH with welsh springer spaniel Rocbee My Love “Aimo” and we placed 5th under judge Titta Rusanen.

29.-30.05.2010 Joensuu All Breed Show + International
I spent few days in Joensuu and we took part in two dog shows. On Saturday I was competing in JH with a young American Cocker Truly Yours Royal Black Legend “Legend” and we were among the best 10. Judge was Veli-Pekka Kumpumäki.
On Sunday I showed Legend in breed ring and this time he got res-CAC under judge Alice Cowin from Australia.

In junior handling I competed with a sweet American Cocker Ch Light Dream’s Zuperstar “Bailey”. It was raining A LOT during our turn, but besides of that Bailey did very well with me. Thank you all friends for a nice weekend!

15.05.2010 Skellefteå, Sweden
We made a quick trip to Sweden with Marjatta, Sanna & few spaniels. The sun was shining whole day and results were very nice!
I showed two English Cockers. The first one was from Norway, Ch Landlady’s Crazy About You “Mia”, who placed 4th in champion class. In BIS-ring I had honour to show sweet girl Ch Bleper’s Yabba Dabba Doo “Yabba”.
